Elena Percival has been immersed in music from an early age, beginning her violin studies at the age of four. After achieving her Level 10 RCM certificate, she pursued further musical education at Capilano University's Transfer Programme in North Vancouver. Elena then earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Victoria and completed her Master of Music Performance degree at the University of Houston, Texas. 

With over a decade of teaching experience, Elena is passionate about educating beginner to intermediate level violin and viola students. She not only focuses on fundamental techniques but also excels in preparing students for all-state auditions, examinations, and performance pieces. 

In addition to her teaching career, Elena enjoys performing with chamber groups and large ensembles. She has played with the Moores School Orchestras and currently performs with the West Coast Symphony Orchestra, as well as various chamber orchestras throughout Vancouver. 

As of September 2024, Elena has been appointed as a concertmaster for the New Westminster Symphony Orchestra. 

At G&G Music, Elena teaches violin and viola lessons.
